AMTSO Guidelines on Mobile Testing

Testing security software for mobile platforms isn’t the easiest testing area, but given that so many people use mobile devices for much or even all their personal computing, it’s a very important one.

And it’s exactly the area addressed by a paper recently published on the Anti-Malware Testing Standards Organization web site. Major topics it addresses include similarities and dissimilarities to testing for PC platforms, real world anti-malware testing (of course), and battery drain measurement.

The document AMTSO Guidelines on Mobile Testing  was approved by the AMTSO membership on the 20th February 2014.
